The EASY CLAMP Mechanism

A patented single-unit design that eliminates torque leakage through precision bevel gear clamping and integrated taper collet technology.

5-Step Clamping Process

The EASY CLAMP operates through a precise five-step sequence as described in the patent abstract. Each step is clearly separated below for easy reference on any device.

01
Insert Taper Collet
The taper collet is inserted into the collet insertion hole of the chuck body. This is the first mechanical engagement point of the clamping sequence.
02
Engage Draw Screw
The female screw hole at the end of the taper collet is loosely screwed into the male screw portion at the tip of the draw screw, preparing the assembly for the bevel gear operation.
03
Loosen via Bevel Gear
The draw screw is loosened in advance by the bevel gear pinion mechanism. This creates the necessary clearance for tool shank insertion without disassembly.
04
Insert Tool Shank
The shank portion of the cutting tool is inserted into the tool holding hole while the draw screw is in the loosened state, enabling smooth and damage-free insertion.
05
Clamp & Secure
The bevel gear pinion advances the draw screw to clamp the tool shank securely. The entire device now forms a single integrated unit — zero torque leakage, maximum grip.

Why Single-Unit Matters

The single-unit construction delivers measurable engineering advantages over multi-component tool holders.

No Torque Leakage

Because the device forms a single unit, there are no intermediate joints where torque can be lost. All rotational energy is transmitted directly to the tool.

Full Adapter Length

The useful adapter length is fully utilised in deep machining without any foul, enabling access to deep cavities in diamold work.

Repeatable Clamping

The bevel gear mechanism provides consistent, repeatable clamping force every time — critical for precision manufacturing operations.

Slim Deep-Reach Body

The slim tapered body design allows the tool holder to reach deep into workpiece cavities that wider holders cannot access.

Simplified Setup

Single-unit construction reduces part count and simplifies setup, reducing changeover time in production environments.

Internationally Recognised

The International Search Report confirmed novelty, inventive step, and industrial applicability for Claims 1–8 of the PCT application.
